I’ve recently been noticing that my various chromecast / chromecast audio devices are continuously showing as “playing” after a playlist ends. In the past, when playlists ended the devices would show as “idle” for a while and then “off.” This is breaking some automations for me.
It may be that this change in behaviour is actually a function of switching from Google Music to the replacement Youtube Music subscription service. Just wondering if anyone might have found any solutions to this issue?
