I noticed something yesterday when watching something on Chromecast.
media_duration: 1248.061
media_position: 5.576
media_position_updated_at: 2020-08-29T08:27:55.965996+00:00
These attributes here “show” if there is a commercial break in the casted show.
When media_position is updated the updated_at will also be updated.
But if there is a commercial break only updated_at will change.
So what I thought is that when position does not change, lower the volume and when it starts again reset volume again.
But for this to work the update frequency needs to be higher than the 15 seconds it is now.
Is this something that can be changed?
