I have been using node red for some time now. Recently I have been having issues with TTS messages getting “stuck” and triggering for no reason. Then in the last week all of the nodes status has disappeared. I don’t even get an output from debug nodes. YES I checked to make sure the check box was checked for nose status. The other forums thought my HA wasn’t “attached” to node red anymore. But all the other flows work and trigger lights and all the other flows. Then in the last couple of days I have an Alexa TTS flow that announces the alarm is turned on or off. I deleted the flow due to no wanting that alarm system. But I am still getting a TTS announcement at weird intervals saying the alarm is turned off. If I had the debug messages maybe I could see what is causing this.
So I thought that I could uninstall node red and clean wipe it. But when I reinstall it all the previous settings were there. I looked at the file system and there are all the settings stored. I tried to delete the files but it won’t allow me.
So I disabled node red via the supervisor section and boom no more random TTS messages. So obviously something is up with node red. But again how do I get rig of everything that is configured and start from scratch with just node red?
You can search for media_player. and go through each node returned to make sure it’s not somewhere you forgot about.
