Climate entity not added correctly for floor heating thermostat

I have a Heatit/Thermofloor Z-TRM2FX thermostat that I use for my bathroom floor heating. The floor heating has a temperature sensor/thermistor embedded in it, which the Z-TRM2FX regulates after.

At first the thermostat was not added correctly. The floor temperature came in as Instance 2: Air Temperature, if I remember correctly. But after updating Home Assistant OS to version 5.9, and I removed and re-added the thermostat. And now at least the entities seem to be correct.¨

But even so, the thermostat climate entity is not added correctly. The “current temperature” value is still zero, a problem I had earlier also but chose to overlook since the entities were added incorrectly. Now that the thermostat entities are added correctly, is there anything I can do about the climate entity? I’ve tried to find out how the climate entity is generated and where the configuration of it is, but I’ve come up short so far.

Thank you for any help.

Same problem. Was able to fix this by some manual changes in the “old” zwave xml file. That file does not exist when using the newest Open Zwave beta integration. Following.

I’m bumping this one. I was googling just now to see if I could find an answer for this, and this thread came up as 2nd hit on Google. Hopefully somebody knows this now with all the action with Z-Wave JS.

I just tried the new Zwave JS integration, and hit the same issue.

Reverted to the old Zwave integration (not Open Zwave) and I see the correct temperature again.
