Clipsal Wiser (Australia) - Do the outdoor sockets work with HA?

I’m looking to move my pool pumps to smart sockets and position a Raspberry Pi nearby to control my solar water heater.

A post on Whirlpool [1] suggested using a Shelly switch - which I know works well with HA  - to control the pumps.

However, I’ve noticed that Clipsal has some smart switches (Iconic Outdoor as an example) which can be controlled by BLE or Zigbee.

Has anyone got these sort of switches working with HA?

I’m assuming (confirmation would be awesome!) the answers in this similar question mean that “Yes” for the Zigbee option, but what about BLE?

[1] As a new user I can only post two links, so here’s my best effort - https:// forums.whirlpool.net.au/thread/9kpy28pw#r74153887

I think there might be some people with that model on the Wiser discord,

Thanks - I’ll ask over there and update this thread if I get a response.

Obviously Still happy for anyone else to share their experience!

From the Discord channel: (mostly copy/paste from there)

  • two confirmations that the outdoor smart sockets work
  • presented as 10ax’s to Z2MQTT
  • included firmware update support

Gotcha - the 10ax is upstream and wired in serial with the physical switch. This means both switches/buttons which both need to be on for the device to be on, i.e. both the10ax which is upstream from the ‘dumb’ gpo switch.

Thanks to iamLex and UncannyVagrant for the confirmations.
