Hi! I recently purchased these recessed smart lights, and it looks like the app they tell me to use is a Tuya OEM app.

Is it possible we could see support/compatibility with these lights for Home Assistant?

Yes, use tuya integration/localtuya
Or flash openbeken/libratuya if you need to de-cloud it.
Turns out I could just add it with the smart life app instead of their OEM app and works just fine
Can you please share the details? I have similar lights, but I wasn’t able to integrate those in HA.
Thanks
Easy! Set up with smart life app, then follow the instructions here: GitHub - rospogrigio/localtuya: local handling for Tuya devices
this is an old thread but hopefully gets some eyes on it. I bought and installed 16 of the cloudy bay recessed lights and love the look. Get comments on them all the time. Problem is they are the only “smart” thing in my home that will not work through Alexa. Well actually 1 of the 16 works for some reason. They work fine through the cloudy app and smart life but Alexa doesnt recognize them even after the were all confirmed connected. Keeps saying they are offline but they are not. Appreciate ANY feedback or help available!
Personally, I use the Alexa Smart Home integration to put all of my HA entities into Alexa. It’s quite cumbersome to set up though if you don’t have Home Assistant Cloud.
