Color Selector Slider Bar Idea

I’ve been working to improve my lighting controls and came across this image with sliders for brightness and color.

A slider for brightness is easy, but the color wheel takes up a lot of screen real estate so I’d love to workout something like this. My idea is to layer a similar looking ROYGBIV image, then place a basic Home Assistant slider over it and make some of the position percentages equal to a basic color like red, blue, green, etc. It wouldn’t have every color option, and wouldn’t look nearly as nice, but I think it would work.

Thoughts?

Look at the Mushroom cards in HACS - they do just that :

Thanks, Neil! Didn’t realize the shrooms had a card like that!

I started on my idea, too, and realized I could make the slider 100% transparent to hide the line, but then I lose the position marker, too. So far it looks pretty good!

Ultimately I’ll add buttons to select which light(s) to adjust with the sliders so they’ll only affect one light at a time.
