Hey all, I saw these plastic lamps at Ikea that are the same shape as the Home Assistant House icon. So I grabbed one up. Printed the Home Assistant logo on sticky paper and placed it on the house shaped lamp shade.
I am using it as a visual indicator of the house alarm system status. With a color changing bulb, flashed with Tasmota (always keep it local!), the bulb changes ‘green’ when the house alarm is disarmed, and ‘red’ when the alarm is armed. I’ve also thought about making it flash orange if the alarm is triggered.
