Hi all,
ComfortZone heat pumps HVAC is gaining volume. They sell a separate ”online module” to enable app and api interface (here ).
I would love to see
Raspberry Pi Zero integration module to enable the api without the official connectivity module.
The Hone Assistant integration
Anyone seen any activity going on regarding this topic? Or maybe even got something going?
I’d love to contribute, but won’t have time (or the know-how) to run the show.

Hi,
I am also very interested in this. The solution from comfortzone is quite expensive and you have to pay for a yearly subscription. I would love see the Raspberry Pi/HA integration.

Have you looked into this? GitHub - qix67/comfortzone_heatpump: Arduino library to monitor and control Comfortzone EX50 heatpump
I’ve ordered the hardware for mine but didn’t have time to set it up yet. Also my software version is different so that will require work as well

Thanks @timdj , never did Arduino before - are there native support for the arduino integration into Home Assistant, or how is that part solved HA side?

If you look at example hardware in issue queue there they use esp so I assume you can just connect trough that over wifi. Have yet to try it out still
