I am trying to use a Pixel tablet as a dashboard monitor. I would like the screen to wake when room presence toggled.
Interestingly the iframe with ip cameras prevents the screen off command from working.
To work around this I sent a web view command to switch to a different view without the iframe.
This works fine if I have no passcode set. With a passcode it does not unlock. I tried pinning the companion app to get around the lock screen, but now the web view command just gives me a prompt to unpin the app.
Any work around for this? I would prefer to keep it simple and not use fully kiosked or other apps.
