Comments in Lovelace config files

My config is getting really hard to parse through when editing. It would really help if we could add comments to signpost. Is there a reason that we can’t?

You can if you use YAML mode instead of the GUI.

And if you use yaml mode you can also split up your Lovelace config using !include statements. It makes things WAY easier to keep track of.

yaml comments used in Lovelace Cards disappear being deleted using the GUI Editor again.

So i have a Lovelace Card for my SolarEdge Modules ( more than 50 entries ) and comment them. When i save it, it still there. If i close the edit of the card and re-open it, its gone.
