Hi everyone, I need some advice on replacing four thermostats in a commercial setting. Each thermostat has a sensor on one side and a thermostat “head” on the other. The thermostats control separate heating and cooling units.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
- Compatibility: The new thermostats should be able to use the existing sensors if possible.
- Integration: I want to control the thermostats via Home Assistant OS, ideally with a local connection (no reliance on cloud services like Google Nest).
- Functionality: The thermostats should be able to manage both heating and cooling systems and trigger the HVAC units on and off.
I’ve considered options like Ecobee SmartThermostat, Honeywell Home T9, and Z-Wave and Zigbee thermostats, and want to get some input for budget options.
Any recommendations or advice on compatible devices and setup would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
