Android pixel 6 pro - location failed to send when not on wifi

I have a similar problem. I’m using Nabu Casa cloud connection and can manage all aspects of my HA from anywhere. My phone with companion app only reports location successfully while at home, and has Location failed to send messages when away. During initial newbie setup of HA, I installed companion app and looked at/messed with all the settings and options. The rest of the family just installed with defaults, and everything seems fine for them but not for me.

This feature request is for a “reset to default” button to put back to initial settings all the things that an onboarding newbie might have messed up, but without changing the basic connection to HA and Nabu Casa.

Delete the app and re-add it.

Android even allows factory resetting apps without deleting them. Can’t get much easier and not worth to program something into the app at all!

I deleted the app and reinstalled it, after first checking that I could log in to Nabu Casa and retrieve my URL.
Login to the app, while away from home, via Nabu Casa worked seamlessly.
Location now works and there is nobody home.
