Compatible Bluetooth USB stick

I am running Home Assistant in Docker on an Intel NUC for many years. It has no built in bluetooth support, so I bought a ROLIO BT5.3 USB bluetooth stick. Home Assistant saw the device, but it could not set up the bluetooth integration without an error. I think the USB device I used might not be the right type. Has enyone reccomendations?

Did you forward dbus to the container?
