Completely locked out of HA due to config error

So I very stupidly added ‘trusted network’ code to my config YAML for a separate issue, and now I’m completely locked out of my server, both on my home network and remotely. It just says “Unable to connect to Home Assistant.” I’m running HAOS on a Beelink.

I must have made an error with the IPs when adding the code.

I plan to completely reset my server using “ha os datadisk wipe” and then restore my backup from this morning.

I’m fairly new to HA and have never had to restore from a backup before for a stupid config error I made, so I thought I’d post it here in case there’s a better way to go about this.

If you set up access via Samba or SSH, you could still be able to edit your config file without resorting to a backup restore.

I recommend the Samba Share add-on. Then you can access your config folder (and more) from your PC File Explorer.

I didn’t even think of that! I do have the Samba add-on. I’ve give that a shot first. Thanks!

Just comment out the trusted proxies part, save & reboot HA. That should give you back your access

That did the trick. Thanks! Saved me a bunch of time
