I just started another (did it multiple times) esphome D1 mini compile…
And suddenly my screen was black… I cant access any of the webpage of homeassistant and the console gives me below. Every “homeassistant login” line takes about 5-10 seconds to appear after pressing return… WTH?

As it was not just the ESPHome container that crashed and as compiling is a fairly high resource use it kind of points to the high utilisation problems people have been having. There’s an “out of memory” error I see in that log but I’m no expert.
Tom, thanks for responding. I have 4Gb mem… shall I make that 6 or 8?
4 should be plenty. I run 8 and rarely go above 20% use. Just wait for 0.114.3 and see if that improves things.
You could install system monitor to keep an ye on resources available.
