ConBee II accessed locally vs over the LAN

I currently use HomeSeer for home automation, and am evaluating moving to Home Assistant. HomeSeer is installed on a Windows server, where I also have a ConBee II connected and deCONZ running.

As I am only evaluating moving to Home Assistant so far, I don’t want to mess up my current HomeSeer setup too much. So I’m a bit hesistant about taking the ConBee II out from the Windows server and using it on my Pi 4 where I have Home Assistant installed.

But I believe the deCONZ addon in Home Assistant can connect to a deCONZ instance remotely as well, so I could just continue having deCONZ running on the Windows server.

So I wonder: Is there anything to be gained by having the ConBee II connected to the same computer that Home Assistant is running on? Or will response and behavior be the same if the ConBee II is connected to a different computer on the same LAN?

I hqve the ConBee II on a Pi separate from Home Assistant and there’s absolutely no difference to when I was running it on the same machine as Home Assistant. Everything responds instantly.
