Conbee2 - problem to add Aqara temp sensor

Hi there,
I am totally new to HA and need your help. I tried a lot different things without success so decided to ask for help.
I am running HA on my Synology NAS where connected HUE lamps and Air purifier. Decided to move step further and bought Conbee2 stick to connect my Aqara temp sensor - WSDCGQ11LM
I had that sensor connected with SmartThings and it worked good. Unfortunately I am not able to connect that sensor to deconz. I tired on my HA NAS and also on my PC running deconz software.
What I have done already:

  1. update conbee2 firmware;
  2. Reset Aqara sensor (20 times)
  3. Remove battery and reset
  4. disconnect sensor from SmartThings hub

I checked again if the sensor can be found by SmartThings and after 20sec the sensor pops up in the app but not with deconz/Conbee2
Any idea what else I can do?
Thanks

Hi,

Firstly, can I clarify something. You have a Hue hub, Smartthings hub & conbee hub all running in the same network? That’s 3 ZigBee hubs all competing for bandwidth within your 2.4ghz network. If I’m honest, b I’m not surprised you have some issues. Have you confirmed they are running on separate channels?

That said, do you have any other devices connected to you conbee stick?

When I introduced my conbee2 stick I decommissioned my hue hub. Maybe it’s worth looking at moving towards fewer ZigBee hubs.

Cheers

As Nick said, you have a lot of devices competing. After decommissioning your other hubs, try adding the temp sensor again. I have 5 Aqara temperature sensors running via my Conbee II stick and they seem to be working well. I did also expand the mesh by using a bunch of Ikea extenders - and although the Aqara sensors don’t show as linked to any devices (extenders or Conbee) on the topography, they are definitely connected and update regularly.

If you haven’t already tried, move closer to the Conbee and try to link them there and see if it is a distance issue. If it links there, but not in other rooms, you may need to add some extenders.
