Config-Backup into external MySQL-database

Hello,

I know that it was my fault, to not download the latest backups, before my memory card decided to give up.
But now, as I am doing all those configuration again that I made over the last year (because, the last downloaded backup from October seems to be faulty too), I wonder if it would be a nice idea, to store the backup on an external (My)SQL-server, where I have enough disk space and the database is currently used for events only.

Well, you could just put the database on an external server and perform backups there as you like?
Although not everything is in the database, so you still might want to back up HA with the built-in mechanism.
