Configuration of Aeotec Multisensor 6 with Homeassistant

Hi,

I’m wondering if anyone can help - i have a Aeotec multisensor 6 set up on z wave but it is not showing up as I would expect in homeassistant.

It’s not coming up on my overview screen as one item (like my lights and everything else do) rather just a bunch of readouts (some unnecessary I think) at the top of the screen.

I’ve had a google but can’t find anything helpful.

Any pointers appreciated,

That’s how the multi sensor shows up in home assistant. All sensors show up as badges. Devices like this have upwards of 10 sensors in them, so you will end up with upwards of 10 sensors in home assistant (many of them may be pointless for your integration, depending on what you want to do).

Ok thanks petro - I just wondered if there was a way to hide some and group the relevant ones together

At least I know its doing what its supposed to now anyway! Cheers

Yes, you can group them together using groups. And you can hide entities using customize:
