I don’t understand why is he deleting my config folder and create an symlink but file_editor can’t open configuration.yaml in /homeassistant but i can open the log file, and the configuration file exist!
I have the same behaviour, several parts of HA are becoming unresponsive at times… then reload/retry and it becomes available again. Even Google Home will report HA not being available many times on voice commands.
Could this be related to access HA via Remote Proxy (NGINX)?
I will try to see if I have the same issues via local access.
on the local address i have not the issue thanks for the tip
ok, so you have the same on reverse proxy. Now what we need to find out, is the change from HA or something in NGINX.
For me it started after updating HA or HA OS… not sure with which one.
For the little help the information may be worth to you…
There have been a number of cases recently with issues getting into the Node-RED editor (slow, unavailable) as an HA side-bar sub-webpage. Node-RED editor uses API back to the main Node-RED server (which is running as an addon in HA).
The issue there appears to have been resolved with the most recent HA OS update, and the underlying suspicion is with the supervisor proxy that permits ingress and access to the addon programs. Again, access via the ip-address:port was OK.
That said, a common theme in the small sample also seems to be the use of a web browser in Windows, whereas web browser on android or iOS or Unix was OK.
I asked what your installation type and hardware was because you are describing symptoms of an SD card going bad in a Ras PI…
How to Troubleshoot Raspberry Pi Crashing.
This often happens after an update where big blocks of disk space are loaded with the update code and the old file space is freed up with both actions possibly finding unstable memory locations. All SD cards go bad, some sooner than others.
Since the last update, my issues are gone!
