Configure Smart Socket as Light

I have a Orvibo smart socket that has a bedside lamp plugged into it in a room with a couple of other smart light products. Is it possible to specify it as a light rather than a switch?

I would like to be able to tell Google Assistant to ‘turn off the lights’ and have this included in the group.

Thanks, did search and was surprised when I didn’t find anything, thought it must be a widely used feature.
