Hello,
Has anyone figured out a way to trick a Nest Thermostat into thinking it has a cooling mode (I currently have mine installed for heating only) to control smart window AC units. HA makes this all possible from an integration standpoint with the exception of the Thermostat itself - which I would like to use as a dial to set the desired temperature that would then translate to the corresponding AC units.
Most of what I have seen online seems outdated. I have tried putting in a 1in wire into Y, but I get a no power error.
Thanks all!
