Confused about Zigbee 3.0 USB dongle

Hello!

I’m looking for a cheap Zigbee 3.0 USB dongle, and I found some based on EFR32MG21 which I understand is the same used in more expensive Sonoff dongles.

My confusion became cause it’s seems to be two products available, one advertised as an amplifier and other as router, more expensive than the amplifier. But the hardware seems to be the same!

So, it’s a matter of software ?

And, anybody have experience using this dongle ? Will it work with HA ?

First, the router has one button, the coordinator has 2 buttons.
It works with HA, but it is not a good coordinator.
