Team,
I’m very confused on the Tuya integrations.
I do see a Tuya original one ( Tuya - Home Assistant ), Local Tuya ( rospogrigio/localtuya: local handling for Tuya devices ) and Tuya Local ( make-all/tuya-local: Local support for Tuya devices in Home Assistant )
which one is the best one? or the real one?
Thank you
M
Hi, you will probably get different answers, for me, Tuya Local is top notch.
I used Local Tuya before, but made the switch when a needed device was only supported by Tuya Local.

Nothing about Tuya is “top notch”. Their wifi API is a garbage dump. Zigbee not so bad, just cheap and nasty.

haha, I stand corected. But here in South Africa, you don’t get too much options, so I’m talking my frame of reference

My 3 remaining tuya-wifi stuff died on me the last 2 weeks one after the other (pieces of sh… from the start), replacing with zigbee

Just came here to mention that my various WiFi Tuya devices are working just fine with the built-in (into HA) Tuya integration.
YMMV, as should be obvious from the above comments
