Connect itag (bluetooth trackers) to hassio? (Really just need them to beep)

So I got some iTags ($1) on ebay:

You can make them beep by pressing a button on your phone, i’d like to know if theres a way I could get them connected to hassio, so I could set up a switch to make them beep, (which I could then set up a webhook to get it to beep from a google home mini), I care more about the beeping then the tracking, I see some people saying bluetooth le causes some issues, they were only $1, so I understand if this isnt possibal, just has anyone gotten anything like this to work?

I found this: https://github.com/tomasgatial/itag-mqtt-bridge but not sure if I can use it with hassio?

I would also like to have these iTags connected to Hassio but I can’t figure out how to set this up either :frowning:
