Hi to the Home Assistant Community!
I have a Nuki Smart Lock 4.0 Pro door lock and would like to connect it to Home Assistant via Thread and control it via Matter. I have a Home Assistant Connect ZBT-1 stick in my server for the Thread connection.
My question is how I can best connect the Nuki door lock to Home Assistant via Thread and then use Matter. Has anyone ever done this in this constellation and has experience with it? I am very new to Home Assistant.

This lock looks nice, do you have a QR code such as this one available ?
You would need to install Thread and OTBR in your HA installation, there are plenty of guide out there , what is the current status of your HA installation ?

Is this device really Thread? Matter is WiFi too
Hello,
Wifi devices can only be for example sonoff MiniR4M or Eltako dimmer or Eve energy (as they are powered by mains voltage and act as a router)
In comparison you can find on the matter standard that every battery powered device should only carry a thread signal .
But it’s possible for a router to have a thread network too !

Actually, a bit more effort searching it - yes it looks like it does
the manufacturer website doesn’t use the word Thread at all! Nice device though
