Connected speaker without assistant

Hi !

I’m new on this forum, and I need your help because I would like to set up a voice assistant with Rhasspy.
To do this I would like to buy a connected speaker without a voice assistant (like Google assistant or Alexa) present on it, but I can’t find one!
Either the speakers don’t have a built-in microphone, or they have one but undeniably come with an assistant already installed.

Would you have something to advise me?
How would you or did you do it?

Have you searched the Rhasspy forum? They have an entire section for hardware - different options available.

Thanks for your reply, I had started by targeting the Home Assistant forum thinking it would be a better choice, but I’ll turn my search to the Rhasspy community.

I have heard from people that use a Jabra Speak for that.
I can just say from work perspective (as a conference speaker) that they are decent devices.
