Connected to IBM Watson IoT Platform but not receiving any data

I’m trying out the above integration (IBM Watson IoT Platform - Home Assistant). Managed to setup the gateway device on Watson IoT and the Home Assistant log reports that it has connected

2020-10-29 23:25:00 INFO (Thread-7) [ibmiotf.gateway.Client] Connected successfully: g:xxxxxx:TasmotaGateway:5678

Looking at the Watson IoT dashboard I see the connection as well

and the gateway has automatically pulled in other Home Assistant devices; e.g. sensors ‘entry_hallway’ and ‘living_room’ in the example.

Here’s the question though. All devices but the gateway show ‘disconnected’ and as such no data is flowing onto Watson IoT let alone the ability to send control messages from Watson IoT to Home Assistant.

What am I missing here?

Is there a way to get to the developer community of HA given someone has developed the Watson IoT platform integration for Home Assistant? Understand that this may not be heavily utilised but I’m keen to get to the bottom of why I can’t seem to get getting any data from HA to Watson IoT

No-one with experience on this integration? Had a look at the IBM forums but didn’t get any further. Just no idea why no data is received by Watson…
