Dear all,
Thanks for reading this post. I really hope to get some help from anyone who have successfully added Somfy motor via Connexoon into HA.
I tried following the below :
Manual configuration steps
If there wasn’t any discovered automatically, don’t worry! You can set up a manual integration entry:
- Browse to your Home Assistant instance.
- In the sidebar click on ***[Configuration]
- From the configuration menu select: [Integrations].
- In the bottom right, click on the [Add Integration] button.
- From the list, search and select “Somfy”.
- Follow the instruction on screen to complete the set up.
Somfy can be auto-discovered by Home Assistant. If an instance was found, it will be shown as “Discovered” , which you can select to set it up right away.
- When i choose authentication via configuration.yaml, i will get this below message upon login.
An error has occurred
Please try again. If the problem persists, please contact our technical support team.
- When i pick authentication via Home Assistant cloud, i will be able to go past the Somfy authorisation page. (However, i do not wish to subscribe to cloud service)
I’ve also tried adding the below lines into the configuration.yaml page.
somfy:
client_id: CONSUMER_KEY
client_secret: CONSUMER_SECRET
However, nothing can be found. I am really clueless what i can do to troubleshoot further. HA was restarted multiple times to no avail. Any kind advice will be appreciated.
