Connection from HA to Local network

New installation can’t find local 8123

I’m completely new to HA and my limited knowledge is limited to cars and soccer, so you’ve been warned :grinning:

I’ve installed HA on a NUC G3, with the aim of being able to collect my smart devices in one place and continuously create automations, etc.

Followed a youtuber when I installed and used Ubuntu and Rufus. Everything went smoothly, but as far as I can google, there are many others who have had similar problems, however, I haven’t had success with the troubleshooting tips I’ve been able to find, which is why I’m asking here.

I’ve tried the following:

The NUC is wired to my standard Internet router

I have tried to access HA on different PCs, both with chrome and edge.

I hope with this post to get some tips that I can try to get it up and running with during the Christmas holidays. (PM is also OK)

It all seems fine. The only thing I would suggest is to check your actions against my guide, see if you have possibly missed something or can resolve from my comments. You used a static IP or DHCP.
