Hi I’m new to home assistant, so please bear with me…
I have an issue with a connection timed out error with my HA which is running on rasp pi 4.
I’m trying to figure out why I’m getting a connection timed out error when my HA tries to update an addon, core, supervisor, etc…
I think I pinpointed the issue which is most likely my router. Im puzzled though because all was working fine, until I started updating my ha core and supervisor in October 2021.
Has anyone experienced this with their router? I have port forwarding setup, duckns working flawlessly for remote access. I just can’t figure out why I can’t update or install new add-ons or updat ethe core.
Can someone point me in the right direction here?
Thank you.
Here is the error:
500 Server Error for http+docker://localhost/v1.41/images/create?tag=0.15.1&fromImage=ghcr.io%2Fhassio-addons%2Fmotioneye%2Faarch64: Internal Server Error (“Get “https://ghcr.io/v2/”: net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)”).
Update: so after a couple weeks, I finally fixed it. I changed the dns server to 8.8.8.8 in HOST, under the etho ipv4 setting, rebooted the host and now it works. Amazing!
