ConnectLife platform for Hisense, Gorenje, ASKO & ATAG and ETNA Connect

I was wondering if anybody has experience with connecting the ConnectLife platform to HA? This platform is for Kitchen appliances from Hisense, Gorenje, ASKO & ATAG. In a few months I’ll be getting a new kitchen. In this kitchen we have a hood and a dishwasher, both with the Etna Connect feature. The Etna Connect platform seems to be the same as the ConnectLife platform. It would be nice to integrate those devices in HA.

I reached out to Etna, this was their awnser:

We have submitted your question to the technical service. They indicate that the Etna Connect platform will not be made available to connect to large smart home platforms. And there is also no API available for Etna Connect on which people can write integrations. So both options are not available.

In Add integration for Hisense devices using ConnectLife I also contacted ConnectLife and they told me the same… If we plan to integrate our devices, right now the only option is NOT BUYING ConnectLife devices, and hope that they change their mind if customers push hurting sales…

I’m about to buy a dishwasher from Gorenje (probably in december/2023, when I move), which I believe uses the ConnectLife app

I’m a software engineer and am interested in developing an integration.

Has anyone reverse-engineered the protocol yet?
