What are your connection settings?
You mean on HA ?
Can you access without app but browser?
I think he means… How are you connecting to home assistant in the app? whats your connection settings. Over wifi sounds like a local connection. Over 4g sounds like a remote connection. Both very different.
Yes, totally
Okay but where it’s possible to find that ? In Settings > System > Network (External access disabled). Maybe the problem is here no ? But how can I activate it ?
how do you connect to HA remotely in a browser? Whatever URL you use there you’ll want to use in the app. Its up to you on how you setup remote access, the easiest way is to use nabu casa cloud.
The connection settings for the app are in Settings > Companion App then look at the top.
I haven’t companion app
make sure you are performing those steps on teh phone in app itself.
Sorry, bad reading i have it but where it’s possible to allowed connection with 4G ?
have you setup remote access yet? You do so by either signing up for nabu casa cloud or setting it up on your own.
you need to have an external and internal URL for the app to work remotely and at home.
Okay so first I need to configure Home Assistant Cloud or Nabu Casa ? Is there a free solution ?
EDIT : okay found a tuto with DuckDNS
yes there is but there is no straight answer as things vary from network to network, you’ll need to research and see what makes sense to you. There are plenty of guides on the forums to follow
nabu casa is the easiest that requires little effort
Okay thanks, I will try everything tomorrow and I will keep you informed
