I live in France and this summer, Google Home arrive in French (and in France) !
I’m pretty attempted, but I would to know if Google Home can communicate with Home Assistant…
For example, we could tell to Google Home “I’m leaving” and Home Assistant switchs in Absent Mode.
Does it already work or exist ?

The Emulated Hue component can expose scenes as lights and you can control those via Google Home. You’d have to tell it something like “Hey Google, Turn away mode on”

Emulated Hue is the best option, in my opinion. IFTTT works fine too, but emulated hue is a better, more direct, option.
Google Home added shortcuts as well, so you can say “Ok Google, Goodbye” and it will run “Ok Google, turn on goodbye script”
