Control DLNA-player via Google Assistant

What I’d like to say to my Google Assistant: ‘Play classical music on DLNA-player.’
Google Assitant responds that the device (on which to play the music) needs to be named.
The DLNA-player is nonetheless available in Google Home.

Note that asking Google Assistant to stop the DLNA-player, works.

Some background.
Out of the box, my DLNA player does not work with Google Assistant.
My DLNA player however is in Home Assistant thanks to the ‘DLNA Digitel Media Renderer’ integration.
Via the the ‘Google Assistant’ integration I expose my DLNA player in HA to Google Assistant.

It seems like Google Home does not recognize the DLNA-player as a media player.
