Hello,
i will soon have a Photovoltaic System on my roof.
Here in Germany we get very little money for exporting electricity to the grid, therefore i would like to regulate an electric heater to “store” excess solar energy in my hot-water supply.
The setup will look like this:
Growatt SPH 4600 Inverter (with Smart-Meter and Battery) <-USB-> Solar-Assistant.io (RPI) <-MQTT-> Home-Assistant <-MQTT-> Shelly Pro 4PM <-> electric-Heater with 3 Power Steps (500W / 1000W / 2000W)
Could you please guide me how to control the electric Heater with Home-Assistant?
My goal is to export as less electricity to the grid as possible, but not use-up the Battery or import electricity from the grid.
I created an flow-chart with my idea - but i do not know how to implement this kind of “flow” in Home Assistant.
I also do not know how to store the Value of the “Load-Variable” for the next run of the script.
Thanks a lot in advance!!
