Hi all, I’ve been digging around the forums and reddit but I don’t think I’ve come across an answer or solution to this.
I have a home network with a Philips Hue bridge and lights. And my HA connects to it just fine and everything is great.
My apartment building (which I own) has lights in the stairs and entrance that are controlled by a different Philips Hue bridge. Also, due to the way things are wired in the building, my home and the building are on separate networks, and thus, my home HA can’t see the building’s bridge.
Both Hue Bridges are enabled for out of home control. And I can control them remotely through 3rd party apps like iConnectHue (I’m not a fan of the Hue app).
I was wondering if there’s a way for HA to connect to my building’s bridge remotely the same way the 3rd party apps do? I don’t care about lag, a delay in response is totally fine for me.
Thanks for suggestions and help!
