Control selected leds fastled_clockless

I wonder why I am not finding any information on this, perhaps I am not searching for the right terms…I cannot figure out how to turn on the 20 first leds out of a 100 leds strip.
I am controlling from Home assistant / ESP Home a strip of WS2812B with fastled_clockless and it is working well but I would like to schedule 20 to go on at a specific time. I don’t have a problem with the schedule part, only the selective leds.
