never mind i got it to work thru the airplay protocol. there’s a 5 sec. delay and the first hew secs have some crackles but then catches up and plays nicely.

My Marantz AV7702 also has a horrible 5-10 second delay via Airplay.
i guess airplay comes with a 5 sec delay minimum out of the box, no matter what amp you have. it would be nice to have it working thru cromecast or dlna because of the shorter delay.
trying dlna… MA says it’s playing but there no sound comming out the speakers.
Yah this is why I’m rooting for ESP32 SP-DIF output with SendSpin, fast AF, but I still cannot get it to work reliable without stutters.
