Hi folks,
our house has about 15 windows across 3 floors with electrical shutters (Somfy ilmo 40 WT) that are controlled by a wall switch (Jung FMA5004M). There’s also a wall display (Jung A1750DWW) next to the switch that is currently used for time-based shutter control. We also have a Pergola shutter with an electrical motor and Somfy remote.
See attached photos.
I’m trying to make sense of the setup and integrate it into HomeAssistant as best as I can but I’m also open to switching out components if it helps integration/consolidation of ecosystems.
These seem to all be devices that can be remote controlled via 868 MHz.
Is that maybe something I can use as a generic solution? Intercept the RF signals and emulate them in HA?
There are also hubs available. I currently have the Somfy Tahoma Switch which allows me to control the pergola and should also allow me to control all window shutters. But I think I’d have to repair all window motors if I go down this route, and while doing so, I might have to repair the wall switches and any remotes which could be painful.
Just wondering if anyone here has experience with these products and what worked best for you?
