I want to know if it’s possible to turn into french the module conversation to avoid to install jsaper project… and if not, Are there a plan to develop that ?
My goal is to control my hue bulbs with my voice, and as many people my phone doesn’t have a fruit on it ;p

found this REGEX_TURN_COMMAND in https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant/blob/dev/homeassistant/components/conversation.py#L28 to update
and also the webkitSpeechRecognition instance in https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant-js/blob/master/src/modules/voice/actions.js#L44 that would need tweaking like: recognition.lang = “fr-FR”;

I was also interested, but it looks like conversation is WebRTC? Or doesn’t work in FFox
I use TASKER + AUTVOICE to control my Home Assistant by voice. That works great. I use it in my own language (dutch).
In the past I used it for automating stuff on my phone, but now I also integrated HASS commands.

I’ve got the reverse problem… My whole home assistant is in English (for multiple reasons) but the speech recognition is trying to understand French.
You made it to work?
I have the same problem, some devices recognice voice in english, some in romanian.
