Greetings, I am unable to use a thermostat card even though I have a Nest connected and providing accurate information. The card reports that I must use entities from the climate domain.
I have tried using templating with no luck. Is it possible to convert these items to a climate domain or use virtual devices with a thermostat card?
How did you add the Nest device?
The documentation indicates Nest thermostats will be imported as climate entities.
Thank you for your input. The Nest data is pulled from a Homeseer system. This seemed the only way to get the Nest data into HA. Unfortunately if I move to the newer Nest API, my Homeseer system will loose access to the thermostat permanently. Thanks to Google.
