I am in the process of converting my masonry dashboards to sections. This seems to work at first until I click ‘done’ and navigate away from the page. AT that moment, I get my old page in masonry, in stead of moving away. When I Ctrl-refresh the page, it;s still in masonry. I cannot find anyone else complaining about this, so I must be doing something wrong here but I’cannot find out what.
I use HA-OS:
- Installation method Home Assistant OS
- Core 2025.7.1
- Supervisor 2025.06.2
- Operating System 15.2
- Frontend 20250702.1
You’ll get this message. It will create a duplicate view as a Section dash, but you’ll need to edit that dash and manually move the cards
That is coorect. And I did. I placed them in the sections, created new sections, till there were no cards left under the line. Then I added even more cards, inspired by the new possibilities. But after cliking done and navigatring away, the new cards are gone, and it’s back to masonry!
Owwww, I think I found something, Maybe it was what you tried to tell me all along but I didn’t interpred it that way? There are now several coppies of my view. That is exactly what you said, but I thought you ment above the line and below the line of the new sections.
I just deleted all of them except one, and had to re-enter the url, Now it’s done.

Yes that is what I was saying

Yeah, sorry, I read it but misunderstood. Thank you!
No worries, it’s not user friendly.
