So I can copy (or cut) a card, but there is no paste option? Am I missing something?
I was hoping to move a card to another tab on the same dashboard, but that option doesn’t seem to be available. So I thought I’d give copypaste a go, but for that to work, one would quite obviously need a paste option.
In my case, both tabs are of type “Sections”. I’m running the latest version 2025.1 on a VM running the latest OS version, if that helps to know.
Use the add card button, the copied card will be first in the list.

Why not add a dashboard using the same browser tab if needed. I’m not sure what the benefit is to paste to a new browser tab.
You are basically editing the same dashboard via two input points when using multiple tabs.
I mean a different tab on the dashboard, not a browser tab 
Yep that’s it. I must say it’s not intuitive. Kinda feels like an afterthought if I’m honest. But thanks for clearing it up for me
Btw, in the mean time I found a workaround: just copypaste the generated YAML into a new card. I suppose that’s more or less what copypaste in the GUI does as well.
I often copy the yaml code as it works just as well, and its the way I got used to before the copy and paste stuff.
