I’ve tried several times to update with no success.
What do I need to look for?
I’d check the system log, see if it says anything, and share it here. Or maybe you’re getting an error dialog of some sort you could share?
I’ve never tried such a large leap in versions before. You might see if you can do an incremental update to something like 2024.8.x. If that works, then maybe a bunch of incremental updates would get you to the current version.
where would i find the link for older updates?
You should probably tell us how you have HA installed. The answer to that question varies depending on whether you’re using Docker, a VM, on Linux/Raspberry Pi, on a HA Green/Yellow, etc.
Basically, you are making it hard to help you. So far what we have is “upgrade on unknown setup failed in unknown way.”
There is a lot that can cause this, so what everyone is saying already i wont repeat. What would also be in play, there is definitely some db migrations in that path, which could take a bit or more.
Post more info and a direction to look at will be given
I have the same problem but from 2025.2.0. I am running HA on HAOS on a dedicated RPI4. I don’t see anything in logs and from webconsole (Terminal&SSH addon), when I run `ha update, I get no message but “Processing… Done. Command completed successfully”
