Covers are treated as lights by Alexa

Hey guys, I have been struggling for a few days now with the integration of my covers in Alexa.

Configured as cover entries in HA, covers appear in Alexa as blinds only because I set the display_category option to EXTERIOR_BLIND. Other than this, covers are treated as lights by Alexa. This means that:

  1. “Alexa, close all covers” does not trigger any action (other than Alexa telling me that there is no covers entity available);
  2. “Alexa, turn off the lights” turns off all lights (correct :crossed_fingers: ) and also rolls down all the covers.

Has anybody else stumbled (and solved) this?
