Drill, silencer, SG90 (servo), and super glue.
This is a first stage of mechanical ventilation automation for my home.
I wanted a solution that is cheap, simple, and easy to maintain while allowing for individual point control. My idea was to use a damper/throttle to regulate airflow and a diffuser to control the air stream.
Ultimately, each point will be equipped with a cross anemometer (similar to a Pitot tube) and a temperature and humidity sensor. Smooth, automatic airflow regulation will allow complete flexibility in adjusting air distribution for each room.
(I believe that for ventilating unoccupied rooms, a different airflow pattern is better than for ensuring comfort when people are present. I also plan to test the automation of directional diffusers.)
