Create Energy sensor consumed kwh not only per day

I have a template sensor to use in new energy dashboard. It collects how many energy has been used per day and then reset, work perfect.

But I also want to see how much energy it used over the last week, month, year. What would be the best way? Create another template sensor? Or is there a function in HA i could use?

You can use-

Available cycle options-
quarter-hourly, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, bimonthly, quarterly and yearly.

Oh as an old school UNIX nerd I wish my outlets all had IP addresses and an SNMP community. Log that stuff to Prometheus, visualize in Grafana… Our “smart” homes have a way to go.
