That you can create groups without any group type (which is required when creating a group helper via the UI).
I’m looking to try to create a group of lights and smart plugs, and simply want to know whether any of them has been turned on or not. Does generic ‘group’ still work ? Or is there now a better way ?
I thought binary sensor might work, but I cannot select the entities I need when that option is selected.
